Paces
Game made for the GBJam 11 theme: Space.
In Paces you won't control a character, but manage the character inventory.
You choose what equipment and weapons to equip and when to use potions.
Battle is automatically, and enemies get stronger with time, use the drop indicator to have an idea of how many items you might get when the enemy is defeated.
Items sizes, types and power are random, so you have to choose if is worth to keep an strong weapon that occupies most of inventory space or discard it and open space for something else.
How many enemies can your character defeat with your help?
Gameplay
Navigate on the inventory and wait for enemies to be defeated and drop items.
Clicking on items will open the choice for USE or DISCARD it.
Use item for equipping or healing the character, discard weaker or items that take many space on inventory otherwise drops that don't fit the inventory is discarded.
Game rolls until character is defeated.
The game has a "lucky" mixed with some strategy based gameplay because of the randomness of items and enemies stats.
Controls:
WASD - Navigation
Q - Submit
E - Cancel / Return
Space Bar - Pause
Left-Shift - Toggle SFX

Know Issues:
Sometimes when trying to select an item from a direction it won't.
